The Lady Chapel Shrine Our Lady of the Atonement Catholic Church WELCOME TO THE LADY CHAPEL! In 1995 a one hundred year old Gothic Altar was saved from sure destruction from a dilapidated convent. This beautiful altar was given to Our Lady of the Atonement parish and has subsequently undergone an extensive restoration process. Early in 1997, the restoration was completed and placed in the newly redesigned chapel of Our Lady of the Atonement. The redesigned chapel includes a blue ceiling arrayed with gold stars and walls painted red with Russian icons displayed, as well as several relics. Many parishioners now include the chapel in their weekly devotions.
