Campus
The Atonement Academy is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood.
Nestled amid wooded hills and gentle dales, crosscut by natural drystream beds, Our Lady of the Atonement Catholic Church retains a country charm, so different from her growing suroundings. With its twin towers just visible from the main roadways, the parish church and attached school is an oasis of beauty and calm - a gentle beacon of the old world, sitting right at home in the new.

While having grown far larger than its single building origin, the timeless architecture of the expanded school building points to an eternal treasure: what a lasting gift a Catholic education imparts. What a lifetime of love and beauty it inspires. Within the walls of the school, children receive an exceptional education that not only develops the mind, but their spiritual and moral character as well. Fostered by dedicated and supportive teachers, learning takes place in modern classroom facilities, including a dedicated computer lab, library, audio/video room, and music room.

Between the Church and the School Buildings there is a courtyard in which students may study.

Between the school and the church, there is a large courtyard where upper school students study on occasion and outdoor gatherings are held. The courtyard is adorned with gardens of blooming green plants, trees and roses. The rose being a reminder and symbol of the Virgin Mary, which in the Middle Ages, are said to have blushed red when she kissed them in Paradise. The courtyard leads to an outdoor shrine: tranquility beside the still but living waters of a coy fish pond.

Physical fitness facilities include a large gymnasium, weight room, two play areas, and outdoor play fields.

Outside of classroom instruction, learning continues in the playfields which are used for physical education and recess activities. A large gymnasium hosts team basketball and vollyball games, as well as other sporting funcitons. Physical fitness is encouraged and taught as a way of life - a complete education for a complete person: body, soul and mind.

Please accept our invitation to visit, attend Mass on Sunday, and schedule a tour of the school!
